INTRODUCTION
Adirondack Friends of Refugees and Immigrants
Who Are We?
We are a group of activists from the Adirondack Region in New York — we hail from Elizabethtown, Essex, Keene and Keene Valley, Lewis, Westport, and Willsboro. We are committed to doing what we can to address the current worldwide refugee crisis.
MISSION STATEMENT
Formed in 2016 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis, Adirondack Friends of Refugees and Immigrants is a group of committed people who are exploring ways of supporting refugees and immigrants in New York State’s North Country and elsewhere. To this end, we seek to witness, educate , advocate, and assist.
